Medical

The BUPA Select cover offers private medical insurance designed to fund eligible private medical, dental (accidental dental coverage only), and optical treatment in the United Kingdom for both you and your eligible dependents. When you need care, you must see certain BUPA and scheme recognized medical practitioners and facilities. To get a referral, you must visit your General Practitioner (GP) first. Call the HelpLine before scheduling diagnostic tests or receiving treatment.

Fit for Life – Wellness Program

To assist you in achieving total wellness in all areas of life, Ocean Spray offers tools and resources that help you become happier, healthier and more productive – both at work and at home. Take advantage of the wellness resources available to you.

• Fitness Benefit: Ocean Spray helps you stay active by reimbursing up to £100 of your health club membership, home fitness equipment or fitness trackers. You can apply for this benefit once each calendar year. You can find the claim form here.
• BUPA Advanced Health Assessment: Every two years, Ocean Spray offers BUPA Select members a health assessment, designed to give you an in-depth profile of your current state of health and fitness.

Employee Support Programme

Fit for Life Cares, an Employee Support Programme by Workplace Options, provides 24/7 confidential counseling for any work or personal issue. This service is free for you and your family members.

Group Personal Pension Scheme

Planning for a bright financial future is important. That’s why Ocean Spray offers the Group Personal Pension Scheme, administered by Royal London. The scheme is designed to supplement the retirement income available through your State-provided pension.

You may contribute up to 100% of your salary to the pension scheme on an annual basis. To increase your savings, Ocean Spray makes a contribution equal to 9% of your gross salary (not including bonuses) each month. Please note that the total annual contribution that can be paid into a pension, and still receive tax relief from both employer and employee, is £50,000 gross.

Income Protection

Ocean Spray offers a variety of benefits to protect your income when you are ill or injured. These benefits are automatically provided to you, and Ocean Spray covers the full cost for these plans.

Short-Term Absence

If you are ill or injured for more than three days and unable to work, Ocean Spray will provide you with 100% of salary for the first 13 weeks that you are unable to work. The amount you receive will be offset by any Statuary Sick Pay that you may be entitled to (currently £85.85 per week). Please provide medical evidence from your doctor if you are ill for more than seven days.

Long-Term Illness Protection

For illnesses and injuries that last longer than 13 weeks, Ocean Spray provides Long-Term Illness Protection benefits equal to 75% of your monthly income. The amount you receive will be offset by any State Sickness Benefit. If the claim is accepted, it will continue until either you are no longer ill and are able to return to work, or you reach the later of age 65 or State Pension Age.

Life Assurance Benefit

Ocean Spray gives you a life assurance benefit equal to four times your annual gross salary that will be paid to your dependents in the event of your death.

Business Travel Accident

When you travel on Company business, you can be confident that you have 24/7 assistance and protection. The Ambassador Business Travel Accident benefit provides the following services: Worldwide Travel Assistance, Security Assistance, VIP Concierge Services, Travel Medical Assistance, and Identity Theft protection.

Paid Parental Leave

Adding a child to your family is exciting. Ocean Spray provides two weeks paid time off to full-time employees who are new parents to care for their newborn or newly adopted child.

Adoption Assistance

To support you in growing your family through adoption, Ocean Spray offers full-time employees up to £8,950 in financial adoption assistance for eligible expenses.

Educational Assistance

• Tuition Reimbursement: Full-time employees may receive up to £3,300 each calendar year in tuition reimbursement for approved programmes.

• Employee Donation Programme: You may donate up to 10 cases of Ocean Spray products per calendar year to non-profit organisations of your choice.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Throughout the year, you need time away from work to relax, connect with loved ones, and be there for the moments that matter most. Ocean Spray provides you with 25 working days of paid time off each year. You will also gain one additional day for each full year of service, up to a maximum of five days.
