Changing your Benefit Elections
We understand that life happens, and that can change your benefit needs. You will have 30 days from the qualifying event to make any changes to your benefits:
- Marriage, divorce, legal separation or annulment
- Birth, adoption or placement for adoption of an eligible child
- Death of your spouse or covered dependent
- Change in your or your spouse’s work status that affects benefits eligibility
- A change in your child’s eligibility for benefits
- Becoming eligible for Medicare or Medicaid during the year
- Receiving a Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO)
Please complete and submit your elections via Workday within 30 days of the effective date of your change. If you do not submit this within 30 days of the effective date, you will have to wait until the next Open Enrollment period to make changes. You may need to provide proof (such as a marriage license or birth certificate) of the event.
